Patrick Herbert, 5th Dan and the Karate-Do Shotokai Europe Saturday 25th June to Sunday 26th June 2011

Shin-do Shotokai were proud to host a course/stage led by Patrick Herbert, 5th Dan and Technical Direct of the KDSE.
Patrick was accompanied by a good group of members from the KDSE who travelled to the UK to practice in Ponteland, home of the Shotokai Academy. Although the course was led in French, Patrick’s son Benoit provided an excellent translation for the event.
The weekend included some excellent Karate practice as well as several social events, the main Saturday night event at Heaton Community Centre, home of Newcastle Shotokai.
The course provided an excellent insight into the different journeys Shotokai has taken in its time and provided a great opportunity for sharing contacts and networking.
